Aimee Lee Lucas reveals her take on G-Dragon concert scandal
After all the craziness that has been the now infamous “G-Dragon dry humping incident” at G-Dragon’s solo concert, the girl who costarred in the act, Aimee Lee Lucas, has shared her opinion on the whole scandal!
In an interview with “youoffendmeyouoffendmyfamily,” Lucas expressed her surprise at the outrage.
“I was shocked when I heard what was happening … We performed two shows on a Saturday and Sunday. All the VIPs and big people came out on Saturday and no one said anything. During rehearsals, no one told us we were going too far and should hold back. So the reaction was surprising.”
“When I became the lead dancer opposite Tae Yang, people joked with me that they were surprised I wasn’t dead … [and] that the fans didn’t come after me with pitchforks for doing what they all dreamed of doing with him.”
“At the meeting, G-Dragon had pretty much the same idea to do something around a stand-up bed … He likes to let loose and push boundaries. Everyone agreed so that’s what we worked on.
"There was no humping … If you watch the [footage], the whole bit lasts only a few seconds. He straddles me for a bit, we do some ‘acting’ and then we’re done. I had to lift myself [on the stand-up bed] and hang there and support all my body weight with my arms. I could only do that for a couple of seconds so there wasn’t any time to do any humping.”

Daesung opened up his own me2day!
Following fellow member G-Dragon’s footsteps, Big Bang’s talented vocal Daesung recently opened his very own me2day account.
On Jan. 15th, Daesung said hello to his fans on me2day with the post, “This is Daesung ^.^” Along with the post is a picture of him radiantly smiling with a shy expression. Shortly after, on the 16th Daesung updated again with another message, “I transformed today too! ^.^” accompanied by a picture of him in a macho leather jacket.

TOP to reveal solo song during Big Bang’s concert
Big Bang TOP will reveal his solo song during Big Bang’s independent concert.
An official revealed on 21st January, “TOP will reveal his new song during Big Bang ‘Big Show’ concert.”
All this time, TOP has participated as featuring for rap in songs like ‘DISCO’ by Um JungHwa and ‘I'm Sorry’ by Gummy, and is known for his rap capabilities. And all these songs have received great popularity, and with TOP’s own solo song coming up, much anticipation is for how it will be received by music fans.
There has been much interests since it was announced a while back that fellow DaeSung will also be releasing a solo album the first half of the year.
Meanwhile, Big Bang concert will take place from 29th till 31st January. And TOP recently wrote on GDragon’s me2day on 19th January, “This is the place we are together” and attached a photo of their performance venue.

DaeSung’s new solo song ‘Cotton Candy’ to be released end of this month!
Big Bang DaeSung will be releasing one solo new song the end of this month in the form of a digital single online.
YG Entertainment revealed on 20th January, “DaeSung will releasing his solo album the first half of this year. And ahead of that, he will be revealing his new solo song ‘Cotton Candy’ during Big Bang’s concert the end of this month.”
It is added that, “We have plans that DaeSung’s new song ‘Cotton Candy’ will be released officially as a digital single the week after it is revealed during Big Bang’s concert. But we felt that fans will be able to better get a taste of what the song is like during the concert.”
After leaving the Family Outing team in February, fans will get to see DaeSung through the release of his new song. The song is said to be written personally by DaeSung, and is composed by Jung JiChan of Ja HwaSang.
The YG rep said, “‘Cotton Candy’ is a song that is of totally different style as compared to Big Bang’s music. To bring out DaeSung’s own music styles in the song and also for his 1st solo album, we have not only have producers from within YG but also external producers.”
Meanwhile, Big Bang will hold their concert performance from 29th till 31st January at Seoul Olympic Stadium. They will also be holding their Japanese tour concert in February.

Daesung and castmates for 'What’s Up' Photo Shoot
We reported earlier that Big Bang’s Daesung was starring in a new drama titled What’s Up. Daesung recently gathered along with his castmates from What’s Up for a photo shoot to promote the show. Daesung’s castmates include: Im Ju Hwan, Jeon Hye Jin, Im Ju Eun, Jo Jeong Seok, and Lee Su Hyeok.
'What’s Up' is about the romance and drama between students enrolled in the theatrical department of a university. It was written by the well-respected author Song Jinah. Song Jinah has also previously written the hit dramas ‘Kaist,’ ‘Sandglass,’ and ‘The Story of the First King’s Four Gods.’

Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang appointed as “Cultural Ambassador”
Both five-member groups Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang received the exceptional recognition of being “Cultural Ambassadors.”
The private organization from the Cultural Tourism Board, the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) stated, “Due to the contributions they have made in the development of the cultural aspect through popular music, we have decided to appoint/award them as ‘Cultural Ambassadors’ as a form of recognition.”
They have produced the most number of successful album records even in such a difficult period of time in the music industry, and have been energetically involved in both local and overseas activities; these are the main reasons behind this award.
A representative from KOFICE said, “This honor was awarded based on those who have contributed to the cultural industry on a yearly basis. Every year, this award has been given to those working in the cultural field, but this year is an exception as it has been given to idol groups.”
They added, “As both Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang are busy with their schedules, the official announcement will be made later in January.”

Daesung and Tiffany are the next hate couple?
Yesterday, beautiful Tiffany of SNSD / Girls’ Generation, along with Nicole of KARA, was a special guest on Family Outing. Lee Hyori and Kim Jong Kook are known on the show for their pairing as “hate couple” and it seems like yesterday’s episode showed a variant of this between Big Bang’s Daesung and Tiffany.

Dae Sung and Kang Ji Young’s bashful meeting on SBS Family Outing!
Idol girlgroup members pay Family Outing a visit.
During the episode of SBS Family Outing aired on 17th January, KARA's Nicole and SNSD's Tiffany did guest appearance on the show.
And other idol girl group members like SNSD's YoonA, Brown Eyed Girls' Gain, JeA and Miryo, KARA's Han Seung Yeon and Kang Ji Young, T-ara's Eun Jung and Ji Yeon also showed up during the filming.
It was a big surprise to Dae Sung seeing KARA's Kang Ji Young that he even turned red in the face. This is because previously on the show, Dae Sung has confessed that he receives and sends text messages to one of the girl group member.
And he had revealed that the girl group member whom he talks about is KARA Kang Ji Young on SBS Strong Heart recently. And the other members have also teased Dae Sung and Kang Ji Young on the show.
Meanwhile, on the show that day, the girl group members also performed various hit dance steps like the ‘Bo Peep’, ‘Butt’, ‘Acrobat’ dances.
Hehe, this is so cute! XD I can't wait to watch this episode!
